Bigger Than Hip-Hop: The Homie Nick Love (@NickLoveATL) Is A Revolutionary!

July 12th, 2012 by Boogie

Like many of our peers (self included), my dear, dear friend Nick Love got to a point when, after having established himself in “the game” (in his case, as a label exec), he had grown tired of dealing with a lot of the foolishness that comes with doing business in Hip-Hop. So what did he do?

He created one of the freshest concepts I’ve seen conceptualized and brought to fruition in a minute: ATLBiteLife.com (Foodie News x Restaurant Reviews x Hip-Hop Attitude)

He explains it much better than I can…

In 2010, I (Nick Love) spent over 45% of my annual income eating out at some of Atlanta’s best (and worst) restaurants. So, who better to guide you through the city’s crowded dining terrain?? Now, I, along with my team of Hip-Hop generation foodies, will expose and review ATL’s newest hits, hidden gems, and old favorites. Hopefully, this blog will earn us a free meal or two while we point you guys in the direction of some good food and steer you away from the wackness. Let’s eat!!!

Nick’s invitation to eat has been accepted whole heartedly. In less than a year, ATLBiteLife has grown from a dream/idea that I’m sure NUFF folks hated on behind his back, to one of Atlanta’s premier food blogs. Nick’s out the box move makes me SO excited to see how my generation of Hip-Hop heads transition into the next phases of our careers!

Check out what RollingOut.com and AllHipHop.com shared with their readers about the site. Then head on over to ATLBiteLife.com, browse the site, follow them on your social media network of choice… and if you discover a new grub spot or decadent indulgence in the A, lunch is on you. Deal?
